Chicken Wings with Mushrooms

A very simple, ketogenic recipe of chicken wings and portobello mushrooms:

  1. Fry chicken wings in pork, goose or duck fat. Add some salt (I did not add pepper this time).
  2. In the same fat, after the chicken wings, stir-fry portobello mushrooms with salt. Add a bit of butter at the end.
  3. Serve with lemon (on the chicken wings), parsley or coriander (on the mushrooms) and sliced cucumbers.

Very simple recipe. If you have been avoiding sugar for long time, you might notice that the mushrooms taste sweet.

Variations for the mushroom: you can stir-fry them with thyme or rosemary.

And a dessert:


  • sour cream
  • strawberries
  • pumpkin seeds
  • cinnamon
